UnstoppableSummary:

“A person with a mind that is fully made up is unstoppable.”

Cynthia Kersey in her inspiring book “Unstoppable” cited these seven characteristics of unstoppable people.

  1. Devote themselves to their true purpose
  2. Follow their hearts passion
  3. Believe in themselves and their ideas
  4. Prepare for challenges
  5. Ask for help and build a support team
  6. Seek creative solutions
  7. Persevere, no matter what the challenges

She went on to say that fortunately anyone who has the will to do so can develop these similar characteristics. That is good news. It is not just for a select few.

I have seen some of those characteristics in myself and others that are in the formation stage. It wasn’t always that way.

There was a time when I knew that I could do more, be more and pursue more but I never had the confidence within myself. I wasn’t exposing myself to others as much, who were making it happen and having them speak into my life.

I had to make some drastic changes in some areas of my life which included surrounding myself with a new group of people. It was my way of asking for help and building a supportive team. What a difference it has made.

The apostle Paul was one of these unstoppable individuals. How do you stop someone like this who have this kind of response?

But he said, “Why all this weeping? You are breaking my heart! I am ready not only to be jailed at Jerusalem but even to die for the sake of the Lord Jesus.” When it was clear that we couldn’t persuade him, we gave up and said, “The Lord’s will be done.” (Acts 21:13, 14 NLT)

Paul was unstoppable because of his conviction, passion and pursuit. What about you? Are you becoming unstoppable? If not, why not? If not now, when?
